Naughty, brilliant trickster Monkey steals sacred peaches of immortality and pisses in the palm of Buddha. Monkey is reckless and impulsive; he’s daring and commanding. And despite his impetuous lowest instincts, he rises to become a Buddha himself. In concert with Bellen's text are colored reproductions of five canvases painted by James Graham, including Super Bowl half-time RealVideo of Dancing Pigs & Pies in Tutus and a triptych of the Monkey God reaching Samadhi.
